NEPENTHE
NEPENTHE
An airy puff of vanilla, in playful harmony with pink pepper and olibanum. This is named for a balm of solace and I am not exaggerating even a bit when I say it: this fragrance is a mood-lifter, full stop. It is unabashedly sweet, so be warned. But this is not a youthful or cloying gourmand. This is a mood. An invitation. It is textured, layered, comforting, and mysterious.

Short Story Long
Short Story Long
It was Helen of Troy, perfume drenched and proffering solace, who gave Nepenthe to some who suffered grief and loss after the Trojan war. Homer wrote of this balm "a potion to quiet all pain and strife, and bring forgetfulness of every ill." We think this is a perfect name for this transportive embrace to joy's shores.

This is not a take-no-prisoners fragrance. This is a kind invocation of soft and gentle feelings. So, avoid this if you are riding into battle.

This fragrance is a beautiful addition to my collection. It’s a very sexy vanilla that is not sweet, but instead it’s warm, sensual and addictive. The dry down is top tier
