This is a snifter of calvados, a caramel apple, a hint of musk. This is a lightly fruity gourmand that reaches for more sophistication than simple candy. A caramel dressed up for a night at the opera. It is playful, sweet, but entirely grown up.

To my nose, one of the most remarkable materials in my vast collection is a dense, dark liquid extracted from the ancient staves of old oak whiskey barrels. Mysore sandalwood might be far more precious, and myriad cedars might have more general utility, but aged oak absolute is just… wow. There are differences based on where the oak comes from and what the barrels held, but in general you would be hard pressed to find any batch of this extract anything other than caramelic, warm, boozy, and rich.
This material, carefully sourced to avoid any potential allergens, is the canvas for Cordial and it delivers not just the woody base notes, but the some of the boozy, radiant top notes, and caramelic heart. In some ways, every other material serves to tease out each various facet of the golden oak, a material that doesn’t get enough play given our thirst for boozy gourmands.

Cordial is probably my favorite if not 2nd fav (next to Cloudbreath) from the samples i received! The company was so nice to also send an extra sample wth my order 🩷🤧 Cordial smells sweet and boozy yet smooth and light. I feel like i could wear this anywhere :) I’m still thinking it over but I might get a full bottle of this or Cloudbreath ! The only thing is i feel like it lasts only 4ish hours on my clothes and as a little scent bubble before i have to put my nose to my clothes to smell it 🥹 but still really amazing scent!

Cordial is warm, boozy-sweet perfection—like settling into a dimly lit bar on a cold night, sipping an apple cordial spiked with cinnamon, citrus, and just the right amount of mischief. This is what a grown-up gourmand should be. The top notes hit with a golden richness: Ceylon cinnamon, juicy apple, candied orange peel, and smooth cognac swirl together in perfect harmony—sweet, spiced, and mouthwatering. Then the base comes in to wrap it all in luxe warmth: creamy vanilla absolute, velvety cashmere musk, whisky-soaked oak barrels, and the soft depth of royal Hawaiian sandalwood. The myrrh adds just the right whisper of resinous mystery, giving Cordial a sultry edge that makes it undeniably sexy.
It’s comforting, intoxicating, and impossibly smooth. Every note is perfectly placed, and the balance is flawless.

Absolutely yummy scent! I loved Cordial the minute I first tried it in my discovery set, and I knew I’d be buying the large bottle! I wear it all the time and I just love the boozy sweetness! Don’t hesitate, just buy it!!
