Goth girl or grunge girl laundry is so fitting to describe Nocturne. It’s totally reminiscent of my 90s grunge girl days down to the hint of clove. It’s dark, vampy, grungy, sexy, intriguing matured rose plummy sweet and edgy with this perfect clean laundry feel that’s been living in a room with incense burning 24/7. So not your girl next door clean girl laundry vibes, rather your girl who lives above the record shop and can be found smoking clove cigarettes at 2am listening to mud honey, green river or sound garden. It’s warm, inviting, familiar yet mysterious and totally cool. The patchouli in this, it’s almost unforgivable how good it is! There isn’t a single fragrance from MDA I don’t love, but this one is a love LOVE.
Smells like black lights and neon, incense and nighttime. Love it.
This is a fragrance for Friday or Saturday night. Intriguing and addictive.
This scent, immediately off first spritz, made me, my mom, and my sister so so happy. My dad, who normally can't handle strong fragrances, enjoyed this one as well. It smells like incense during a pooja. It's definitely very strong and will float around you during the day, which I personally don't want in a perfume, but it was lovely, and if I didn't commit to buying only one perfume from the Winter Collection, I would have bought this one for my sister.
The balance between sweet vanilla, dark fruit, clean musk and warm resinous spicy goodness in Nocturn is sublime. The opening is really nice, the dry down however, is spectacular.
