We are based in the national capital area and spring here is a remarkable, if too short, period of blossoming trees–apple, pear, cherry-each tree blooming and fragrant. Any particular tree might not inspire total awe, but the impact of thousands and thousands of blooms can be a marvelous experience. Sugarwood stretches the short lived bloom into a full, long-lasting warm and sweet wood and blossom fragrance that can’t be missed.

This was one of my favorites in the discovery pack that I got. I love how unisex it is, but is still outdoorsy and light!
This reminds me vaguely of Memoir by Amouage, one of my all time favorite fragrances. It is so addictive, definitely can be worn by women or men. Sugarwood is a perfect name for this perfume - it's sweet and woody. Super unique ! Very long lasting.
Every time I think I have found the one perfume that I love from MDA, I get a sample that I just have to get the full bottle of. Now I have five bottles that are all my favorites. Sugarwood is delicious. Its smoky, woody but also sweet. I suppose that's what the name implies. At first spray it kind of smells like root beer to me. Once it dries down I get more of the smoky, woody notes. It's beautiful and I love it. Oh, and it lasts too. I sprayed it on a sweater, washed/ dried said sweater and I could STILL smell it!
I was a bit skeptical with this one because sandalwood occasionally smells funky on me. To me this is the best sandalwood I own it’s very sweet and long lasting
The perfume market is saturated with sandalwood scents but this one truly is a fresh take. To me, it’s an amber-sandalwood hybrid that is balanced out with subtle floral notes. It’s not at all overpowering & is truly unisex. While this could be worn year round, I think the cherry blossom & soft wood notes are perfect for spring.
