I am obsessed with this perfume! Its a warm, comforting spicy, smoky vanilla. If you've ever smelled Sana Jardin Vanilla Nomad- it's like that but better. The evolution that happens from the first spray to the dry down is amazing. I can smell each note as it dries down and each is wonderful. I wish this also came in a purse spray because I want to take it everywhere with me.

An excellent example of good perfumery. Balanced perfectly. Sweet without being cloying. Rich without being heavy handed. It's vibrant and fun without being juvenile but not so restrained as to feel mature. It's a fragrance you'd wear when you want to really LIVE your LIFE.

This is the most perfect vanilla scent, not too sweet and very warm. The incense note comes through as it dries down

10/10 My immediate response was “this is stunningly beautiful”. Then I noted that it was a little powdery, and I have a long-standing dislike for powdery fragrances. They tend to evoke childishness on me. BUT, this fragrance leaps past “baby” to “ethereal”, which, no doubt, was the goal. It is absolutely innocent smelling, and I have a bit of a gothic heart; but it’s a well-made foray into light and sweetness for a weary soul. I love it, and after I finish with this outstanding discovery set, this may be at the top of the list for a full bottle.

I originally purchased this as part of The Discovery Set and fell in love with the warm, sweet and intoxicating scent at first sniff. I knew it would be a full bottle purchase after wearing it because it smelled even better on my skin! The tobacco note is sweet and smooth and the leather note is that of soft, well-worn suede. Ugh, I just adore this one!

This sample pack was so different from any perfumes I’ve ever smelled! Sirius and Cloudbreath were my favorite for myself. Each scent was unique and original, and even if I might not wear some of them myself, I still loved the scents on their own. If I met someone wearing any one of these perfumes, I would definitely compliment them on how good they smell! Crystal’s customer service was also spectacular, and she went above and beyond in answering all of my questions about her brand. I’ll definitely be back for a full size bottle of Sirius!🫶🏽

This was the first sample pack I’ve bought in a long time where I’ve adored every scent. I feel Maison des Animaux has a very clear fragrance voice without being derivative. Beltane and Sirius ended up being my favorites, but I’m excited to wear them all. Not to mention wicked fast shipping, slick packaging, and attainable prices (I promise I’m not a shill, I just love perfume). I’ll be keeping tabs on this indie perfume house.

This is what I want to be wearing when I run into my ex because it makes me feel beautiful, elegant, and like someone who might have cartel connections that should scare them a little. I don't know why it's called nostalgia, this isn't my nana's cedar chest, and the vanilla is really dark and maybe even bitter, like vanilla pods. This isn't a vanilla for someone who is looking for something sweet and light, but more about finding the intensity under the sweetness.
